When you submit a contact or membership request, we collect the details you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, company, country, business interests, and message. Please do not include passwords, payment-card details, identity documents, or other sensitive information in these forms.
How we use your information
We use inquiry and membership information to review requests, respond to you, arrange relevant conversations, and manage our business relationship. Submitting a request does not create a paid membership, confirm a travel reservation, or automatically subscribe you to a mailing list.
If you express interest in updates, we record that preference for manual review. Any later mailing-list enrollment will be handled separately, with the relevant choices and unsubscribe information.
Storage and service providers
New form submissions are stored in this website’s WordPress database using Gravity Forms, and a notification is sent to mario@piazzeitalia.com. Our hosting, website, and email service providers may process information as needed to operate these services. Access to inquiry records is limited to authorized people who handle the requests or maintain the website.
Retention
Our normal active retention period for new website inquiries and membership requests is 12 months. The new forms are configured to move entries to Trash after 365 days through the website’s scheduled processing. Trashed records are not immediately erased and may remain recoverable until cleared. Email copies, backups, ongoing business records, and records needed for legal or accounting purposes may have different retention periods. Contact us if you want us to review or remove a particular record.
Cookies, statistics, and technical information
The website uses WordPress and associated services. Essential cookies may support sign-in, security, and site operation. The site currently uses Jetpack statistics, which may process technical usage information. Server logs may also record information such as IP address, browser, and requested pages. The new inquiry forms are configured not to save the submitter’s IP address in the form entry.
Google Analytics is not configured as part of this draft preparation. Any future analytics or advertising setup should be reflected in this notice and in the website’s applicable consent controls. The page fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives the technical information needed to deliver those font files. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.
Other websites and payments
Links to partner businesses, social platforms, itineraries, and PayPal may take you to services with their own privacy practices. Payment details entered on PayPal are handled by PayPal; please do not send payment-card information through our contact forms.
